Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in street maintenance or similar outdoor work is a plus

• A valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Operate and initiate set ups on grinders, shapers, milling machines, drill presses, lathes, etc. with no supervision.
• Heat treat various types of tool steel.
• Make new die sections, as well as replace broken and worn dies.
• Disassemble and reassemble die; check punches and dies for proper working clearance.
• Build new dies from blueprints.
• Analyze areas of quality cost and implement root cause corrective action for overall reduction in quality cost.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of statistical process control techniques.

Candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Must have experience as a tool room machinist 
• Working knowledge of grinders, shapers, milling machines, and drill presses.
• Must possess strong mathematical skills
• Must possess strong blueprint reading skills and have knowledge of shop theory.

Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Tractors and Other Equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Navigate service and parts manuals
